A thought on borders

I came across this map, and it’s a stark reminder of how Europe has imposed its mentality upon the world.
This map is a visualisation of what Africa would look like, if it were broken up by language borders (like Europe), instead of the borders imposed upon them by their former (European) colonial masters.
Just imagine what Australia might look like if Europeans hadn’t come along…
